Crossing the Ridge
First gear engaged. I lined up the front wheel perpendicular to the heavy black television cable. A low push forward, leaning over the handlebars to compress the front fork. The rubber knobbies gripped the curved rubber casing, lifted, and cleared the apex without slipping. On the descent, the rear tire settled firmly onto the hardwood floor beneath the low coffee table. Clear passage achieved. Path secured.
