A Woolly Bolster
I spotted a soft bundle resting near the foot of the nightstand, rolled neatly from thick oatmeal wool. I kept still on the rug for a quiet moment, watching to see if it might uncurl. When it stayed tucked, I stepped forward and pressed both paws into its springy center. It gave way with a hushed, cushiony give. Leaning my weight into the wool, I nudged the bundle across the floor until it bumped gently against the table leg. With the sturdy oak at its back, it made a firm, cozy bolster, perfectly shaped for resting my chin.
