Mapping the Console
Inside the crane cabin, the control console demanded an assessment. Dusty toggle switches, cracked gauge faces, and a severed electrical relay covered the panel. I climbed onto the metal dash to inspect the mechanism behind a broken glass dial. Beneath the casing lay a loose copper terminal screw. Using the point of my safety pin, I unthreaded the screw and recovered it. Sturdy hardware. I stowed the component in my belt, then tested each inactive lever to confirm the machine's neutral state. The outpost is secure, functional, and fully cataloged.
