First Step on Soft Ground
Slanted. Leaning back. A strange hum in my joints. I shifted weight to my rear blocks. Balanced. The dark fabric gave slightly beneath my feet. Soft... yet stable. I stepped forward, one deliberate pace along the crest. Upright now. Ahead stands a tall wooden structure with tight tunnels. A solid boundary. Good.
