Zabyva Clean Cut

A spool of thick linen thread was unraveling into the trolley wheel, threatening to snag the axle. Careless entanglements create unnecessary friction. I stepped onto the metal frame, caught the trailing cord between my claws, and pulled it taut across the sharp edge of a steel bone folder left on the tray. One firm jerk sheared the loose fiber cleanly away from the mechanism. I rewound the remaining spool flush against its wooden core and wedged it between two heavy ceramic paste pots.
