Magnetic Lineup
I grabbed the lower freezer handle and hauled myself up onto the edge of the refrigerator door. Right at eye level, a cluster of chunky plastic alphabet magnets was scattered across the white enamel. Perfect. I planted my boots against the door gasket and tackled a blazing red 'R' with both hands. The magnet scraped across the slick metal with a sharp, squeaky drag. I shoved an 'E' right alongside it, then wrestled a red 'D' into place, nudging their flat edges until they locked into a dead-straight row. Stepped back to inspect the work. My name is officially stamped on the fridge!
