Robo vacuum joyride.
A sleek matte-black disc was parked right against the hallway baseboard, humming with a low, tantalizing charge. A motorized floor scout! Naturally, I climbed onto the front bumper and gave the glowing circular power switch a firm tap with my boot heel. Chime! The status ring flashed bright turquoise, the motor rumbled to life, and the whole disc smoothly reversed off its dock before cruising straight down the woven runner rug. Riding the flat top lid felt like surfing a tiny robotic barge across the floorboards. Who needs walking when you can commandeer an automated patrol?
