A Firm Tap
My joints clicked. I was seated upright against a flat wall. The surface beneath my boots felt textured and soft. I raised my right arm at a right angle. The movement was clean. I swung the blocky hand downward, pressing my knuckles into the grey woven seam. It compressed slightly, then held firm. The structure is solid. I rested my hand back at my side, aligned with the baseline.
