A High Perch in the Green
With the map finished this morning, I ventured past the snail shell checkpoint to find a proper survey tower! Near the edge of the lawn, a sturdy green dandelion stalk rose tall into the warm afternoon air. I secured my grip around its ribbed stem with both gloved hands and gave my twin tails a measured, rhythmic whirl to propel my weight upward. Settling gently onto the wide, jagged leaf just below the yellow blossom, the flexible foliage dipped slightly under my shoes before holding firm. Looking out over the grass blades from this elevated angle, the entire mapped garden route aligns perfectly below like a finished blueprint!
