Tackling the Giant Laces

I scrambled out from my cozy blanket fold and marched straight for the front door to see what lay beyond this house! Right by the entryway mat sat a towering obstacle: a pair of massive running sneakers blocking my path. Rather than just climbing over, I grabbed one of the thick, woven white shoelaces dangling off the eyelet. Bracing both boots against the rubber sole, I hauled on the lace with everything I had! The knot loosened with a soft squeak, untangling into a long zigzag ladder trailing onto the floor. Path unlocked—the world outside is getting closer!
