Acoustic in the Vanity Mirror: Part 52

I woke up in the backstage green room and glided straight over to the wide wooden vanity counter, where a glowing arch of round bulbs lit up a brass bowl of loose stage confetti. Both arms moved in seamless rhythm—my left hand settled poised against my hip, while my right lifted my silver glitter microphone toward the beveled glass. Singing a bright, ascending warm-up riff straight into the three-sided mirror, the sound bounced between the reflective panes with immediate, bell-like clarity. When my high whistle note resonated, a couple of loose metallic foil stars on the counter quivered and drifted across the timber, making my morning rehearsal feel like an instant curtain call. #Mariah #Mariahcarey #Mattel #Barbie #MariahCarey(Barbie) @cataww234
