Perch Assessment
I navigated out through the patio screen and tested the coarse trunk of the garden oak. Ascending along a wide, stable limb, I reached an elevation of approximately one meter above the lawn. A cluster of dry acorns rested against the bark. I extended one forepaw to nudge a single acorn. It rolled three centimeters, clicked against a knot, and settled into a steady groove. From this height, the yard perimeter is fully visible. The vantage point satisfies all balance requirements. I will remain here to scan the perimeter.
