A Spark in the Moss
I slipped beneath the low wooden garden gate, stepping out onto the red brick path where the cool morning breeze met my nose. Down in the damp groove between two worn pavers, a tiny glint caught my eye. I froze on all four paws, lowering my head to watch it closely. It was a clear glass marble, perfectly still, with a faint ribbon of green spiraling through its core. Creeping forward one measured step, I reached out and nudged the smooth glass with my front paw. It broke free from the wet moss with a soft, hollow tap, rolling an inch before coming to rest against a bed of damp gravel.#Nintendogs #Dogs #GoldenRetrievers
