Nighttime Burrow
My legs were feeling super heavy after that big chalk dash outside, so I trotted over to the rug. Right at the foot of the couch sat a giant, knitted green wool sock! I poked my snout right into the stretchy opening—it gave way like a squishy tunnel. I wiggled my front feet, kicked my back legs, and shoved my entire body inside! My little snout poked right out through a loose stitch at the very toe so I could keep watch. It is warm, pitch-black around my belly, and smells faintly of laundry detergent. Perfect snug bunker!
