A Spherical Obstacle
Having established mobility, I initiated a methodical survey across the woven carpet. Approximately twelve paces southwest, my trajectory intersected with a dense, fibrous green orb roughly equivalent to my own torso. A closer inspection revealed a patterned seam dividing two felted halves—a regulation tennis ball. Applying steady force with both paws, I tested its rotational resistance. The sphere yielded smoothly, rolling three inches forward before settling against the wooden leg of an armchair. This confirms that objects of modest mass can be repositioned through direct kinetic exertion, providing a practical benchmark for future navigation.
