Crumpled Paper Suspension
Stepping down from the cardboard flap, I ventured into the interior of the box. A mound of kraft packaging paper lay bunched in the center. I pushed my palm against the crumpled fold; it compressed four millimeters before offering firm resistance. Bracing my left foot on a compressed crevice and my right foot on a higher paper ridge, I distributed my mass evenly across the hollows. The brown paper rustled once and stabilized. I remained balanced across the paper crest, elevated six centimeters above the box floor.
