The Woven Ridge
A heavy woven doorstop blocked my path into the hallway. It looked like a solid, braided boulder. Perfect! I planted my hind feet, leaned my dome forward, and shoved it with full force. Nudge! It barely slid an inch, rubbing rough hemp against my forehead. Chirp! Shoving wouldn't work, so I stepped up instead. My front claws dug right into the thick cord twists. With one determined heave, I hoisted my front legs up, balancing right across the round top like a tiny ridge climber. The whole hallway opened up ahead!
