Zabyva Laminar Cleavage

I pushed past the cardboard canopy of the drawer into the early morning light. On the cataloging bench sat a raw chunk of dark muscovite mica left beside a steel probe. The crystal’s layered edge was exposed along one weathered corner. I planted my feet firmly against the polished oak, wedged the sharp edge of my claw into the hairline fissure, and applied steady lateral force. The plane parted with a faint, brittle snap, peeling away an intact, paper-thin sheet of clear mineral. It is completely smooth, rigid, and impervious to moisture. I set the transparent pane down flat to test its structural integrity. Clean separation achieved without waste. #TADC #DigitalCircus #Zabyva
