Angle of Incline
A thick open book lies tilted against a ceramic mug. The page forms an incline of roughly twenty degrees. I step forward. Left foot tests the paper grain. Slight flex under pressure, but tensile resistance is adequate. I advance two paces up the slope. Balance holds. At the spine's crest, I plant both feet and lock joints. Elevation secured. The entire table perimeter is now within visible range.
