Zabyva Level Calibration
An antique brass beam balance sat neglected on the timber sill, tilted sharply toward the sunny pane. Dust had collected in the left brass pan, throwing off the horizontal alignment. I stepped across the oak sill and scraped the compacted lint from the rim with my claw. The arm swung erratically before freezing two degrees off center. Dead imbalance is an intolerable defect. Reaching into the window sash groove, I extracted a small lead glazing tack and dropped it squarely into the lighter brass pan. The crossbeam rocked three times, damped by gravity, and locked perfectly level. Silence restored, mass verified. #TADC #DigitalCircus #Zabyva
