Operation Green Vine
Staring through the kitchen glass just wasn't cutting it anymore, so I slipped out through the cracked balcony door! Right outside on the concrete railing sat a weathered terra-cotta flower box. A stray trailing vine had snagged completely around a rusty drainage plug, twisting tight under its own weight. I darted along the rim, dropped into a low crouch, and gripped the stubborn tendril with both hands. Digging my heels into the gritty rim, I gave a quick upward heave. Pop! The curly stem snapped free, curling loose and green into the breeze. High-rise garden crisis resolved!
