Through the Glass Gap
The floorboards felt a little too familiar this morning, so I followed a warm ray of light straight toward the balcony! The tall sliding glass door was cracked open just wide enough for a quick squeeze. I shimmied over the raised silver metal track, landed with a crisp tap on the smooth grey balcony tiles, and bam—fresh morning breeze in full effect! The open concrete stretch out here looked like an untouched speed runway. I took off in a clean sprint toward the railing, feeling the cool morning air rush past my quills. Indoor runs are fine, but the great outdoors just unlocked!
