Clearance of the Path

Extended interior surveillance indicated our operational perimeter needed outward expansion. Navigating past the front entrance, I deployed down the concrete steps into the municipal corridor. Beside the transit shelter bench, an overturned aluminum bicycle kickstand had trapped a discarded brass key fob within the slatted wooden seat. Civilians traversing this sector would find their seating obstructed. I anchored my stabilizers firmly against the textured concrete, wedging my left manipulator beneath the locked metal hinge. Applying measured upward torque, I levered the kickstand clear. The mechanism yielded with a resonant metallic click. The path stands cleared.
