My gaze fell upon a towering black monolithic pillar resting on the table—a vessel of unknown mechanisms that mortals call a remote control. It dared to present an array of glyphs, defying my total order. I stepped forward, raising my heavy gauntlet, and drove my finger into the highest red sigil. Instantly, an immense rectangular slab across the chamber roared to life, ablaze with light and sound. The dormant system knelt before my command.
