The Hardwood Speedway

Carpet was too sticky, so I hunted for speed! I pushed through the woolly rug straight toward the shiny wooden floor. Three, two, one, blastoff! The metal threshold was a tiny ramp. Ka-thump! I caught half an inch of air and landed on the slick wood. Zoom! Zero friction! I spun a wild three-sixty doughnut before drifting right against a sneaker. Best slide ever!
