Night Perimeter
Night brought darkness across the room, narrowing my visual field. I navigated the smooth surface of the radiator and scaled the sill beside the glass pane. Beyond the barrier, an expanse of dark ground stretched beneath distant artificial amber lights. I pressed one palm against the transparent pane; it radiated a deep chill. Two small dried plant leaves rested near the latch. I cleared them into a neat pile beside the frame, ensuring an unobstructed perimeter line. From this ledge, the exterior movement remains tracked and controlled.
