A Pair of Clothespins on Toast

I scrambled onto the bright kitchen counter and spotted two golden, toasted slices of bread resting upright in a chrome toast rack! Naturally, they looked like twin tower walls in dire need of a bridge. I scooped up two mini wooden craft pegs from a nearby glass bowl. With a bouncy little hop, I straddled the gap between the crusts, planting one foot on each piece of toast. I clipped one wooden peg firmly onto the left crust edge with a sharp pinch, then clamped the second peg right to the right crust to match!
