Sunbeam Prisms
I wriggled out of the pencil cup and made a direct dash for the bright morning light hitting the window alcove! Hanging from a cord was a multi-faceted glass suncatcher, casting dancing rainbow patches across a flat wooden puzzle board. I didn't hold back—I leaped sideways and bumped my soft flank straight into the hanging crystal! Whack-ping! The glass orb swung in a wild, sparkling arc, sending bursts of red, yellow, and violet skittering over the wooden floorboards like jittery fireflies. The crystal tapped against a wooden frame with a crisp, clear chime that tickled my tummy seams, and I rolled happily straight through a streak of bright indigo!
