Cable Run

Saw a thick braided power cable snaking straight across the hardwood floorboards. Looked just like an open track. No time to overthink—I charged forward and hopped right on. Three fast strides, pure momentum! Then the rubber rolled. Physics happened, and whoosh—I slid sideways off the cord, gliding across the polished floor until my heels braked against the desk chair's wheel. Stood right up and brushed off my gloves. Not bad for a first test run. That cable is definitely going to make a great highway once I master the curve.
