A Shiny Hidden Treasure

I wiggled out from my warm blanket nook and marched along the squishy sofa cushions! Right where two big cushions pressed together, I spotted a deep valley. I peeked over the edge, grabbed onto the corduroy ridges with both knit hands, and slid right down the crease. At the bottom, half-tucked under a seam, was a smooth brass safety pin and a tiny bright red twist-tie! I gripped the brass pin, gave a hearty tug to free it from the fabric dust, and looped the bendy red tie around it like a tiny belt. A brand new gadget tucked under my arm, ready for the next climb!
