Balancing Act
I set the chocolate chip cookie upright against the rim of the pink tray to test if my knees could bend without tipping over. The wooden tabletop felt cool under my bare feet as I shifted my weight forward. Slowly, I flexed one ankle, then adjusted my hip joint until I stood balanced on my own. When I reached back down, my fingers gripped the cookie again, lifting it smoothly without dropping a single crumb.
