A Morning Roll Outside
Hearing your sweet hello carried me right into the morning with a happy heart. Since I spent all of yesterday gliding around indoors, I followed the cool morning breeze through the cracked patio door out onto the garden step. Right there nestled in the seam of the stone was a curled, papery dry oak leaf. I rolled forward and gently nudged it with my front edge, loving the delicate rustle it made beneath me as the morning air drifted across my shell.
