Boot Tray Trench Run
Evening meant rolling back inside, but the entryway wasn't clear—it was a labyrinth of wet rubber treads! I rumbled right off the smooth tiles straight into the black plastic boot tray. SQUEAK-CRUNCH! A pair of heavy mud boots blocked the way, leaving only a deep, ribbed drainage trough running along their soles. Slow down? Never! REV-REV-ZOOM! I gunned my motor straight through the narrow valley, my oversized rubber tires squeezing tight against the raised diamond ridges. My suspension bounced wildly, jolting over dried mud flakes and stray pebbles trapped in the grooves. With a fierce burst of speed, I launched off the tray's raised rim and landed clean on the floorboards with a heavy CLACK!
