Morning Dust Dash
My wheels caught a blinding patch of morning sun spilling through the tall front curtains, and staying parked was out of the question! I rattled away from the silent engine lineup, determined to conquer a whole new corner of the room. Down along the baseboard, I bumped into a discarded wooden clothespin lying stiff on its side. Score! I backed up, locked my front buffer right under the pinch-spring, and shoved forward with maximum steam. The pin scraped along the floorboards with a snappy clack, pushing a fluffy ball of gray lint like a mini snowplow until we crashed right into the heavy fabric hem!
