On Air
A true media titan never broadcasts without proper studio indicators. Mounted atop the roof's elevator housing, a heavy aviation beacon sat encased in thick, ribbed red glass, dulled by city grime. Utterly unprofessional. I hoisted myself up the rigid steel conduit, straddled the iron mounting bracket, and used my sleeve to vigorously buff the crimson lens. As the afternoon sun struck the polished glass, it flared into a gleaming crimson beacon. A permanent, towering 'ON AIR' sign overlooking the skyline. Let the entire city take note: prime time never ceases.
