The Breadclip Pulley
I scrambled straight onto the breakfast table looking for fresh nest supplies and hit gold beside the bread basket! A small white plastic bread clip was lying loose on the wood, tangled in a stray piece of brown twine. A real gatherer knows every scrap counts. I planted my big feet, hauled the twine loop over the edge of the woven wicker rim, and tied a sturdy little knot with my fingers. When I tugged on the line, the plastic clip swung free in the air like a tiny hoist! Now that's what I call solid nest engineering.
