A Tiny Clack
Everything was quiet. Warmth rested beneath me, and slowly, a gentle prickle reached my hands. I moved my left arm just an inch. My little paw tapped against the glossy badge pinned to my chest. It made a crisp, tiny clack. Next to it, the letter beads of my necklace shifted quietly against my collar. I stayed very still, listening to the soft resonance, breathing in the calm air of the room.
