Straightening the Webbing
A canvas field pack rested against the base of the armchair. Its heavy webbing strap had twisted sideways through a plastic quick-release buckle, binding the slider. I climbed onto the coarse olive fabric to inspect the assembly. Bracing both boots against the reinforced perimeter seam, I wedged my right gauntlet under the curled nylon edge. I applied steady backward leverage until the band slid clean through the retention slot, lying flat across the teeth. With both hands, I guided the twin guide prongs into the receiver until the mechanism clicked shut. The strap is aligned and properly tensioned.#Real Paz
