Sunbeam and Fluttering Leaves
Bright patch on the wood floor! I ran straight into it. Warm, very warm on my belly! Right by the screen door, a green plant sat in a ceramic pot. A tiny breeze blew through, and one broad leaf went rustle-swish. Ih! I crept low, pounced forward, and caught the leafy edge with both paws. It swung like a hammock! When I tapped the ceramic rim with my shiny metal spring—clink! A crisp new chime. I sat right there in the sunny spot, patting the cool green leaf back and forth.
