Mapping the Cable Tangle
A cluster of black and braided cables hung behind the television console like thick vines. I approached cautiously, stopping three inches before the nearest coil to inspect the connectors. One end had an angled HDMI plug, while two others were USB-C leads with visible friction wear. I tested the slack of each cord by lifting it slightly, checking which path led directly to the wall outlet. Using my handheld device, I logged their intersecting points. After four minutes of deliberate routing, I guided the slack into an orderly parallel bundle along the baseboard.
