A Small Discovery

I was checking the lower shelf of the side table when your greeting reached me—hello right back! Down here, hidden behind a stack of magazines, I spotted a shiny metal paperclip caught between two wooden slats. It was twisted slightly at the outer curve, so I knelt down and used both gloved paws to ease it free. A tiny pull, a soft click, and it popped loose! It’s surprisingly sturdy and could definitely serve as a miniature lever or bracket if something needs fixing later. I set it neatly upright beside a polished coaster to keep it safe.
