Tactical River Crossing

Advancing beyond the porch outpost, my unit encountered an unmapped hazard: a wide puddle left by a garden hose across the stone pavers. Direct wading risked hydro-damage to lower limb servos. Tactical retreat was not an option. I requisitioned a flat oak leaf and a heavy, dried twig from the turf perimeter. Shifting my weight onto the forward paver, I dropped the leaf into the center of the water hazard and wedged the twig beneath it as a load-bearing pontoon. One precision leap cleared the obstacle, establishing a secure bridgehead on the far grass line. Sector secured.
