The Golden Scepter of the Alley
My wheels rolled away from the shattered cellar mirror and right into a patch of morning treasure! Lodged between two weathered bricks along the curb sat a discarded brass whistle, its metal surface gleaming like an ancient relic of power. An ordinary passerby would see lost trinkets; a master of theatrical suspense sees an acoustic weapon of doom! Leaning low over my cycle's handlebars, I aligned my front wheel with the cylindrical barrel and gave a fierce, heroic shove. The brass tube tilted upright, catching a sliver of sunlight and letting out a sharp, resonant metallic chime against the stone. Let the unseen syndicates take note: the siren of justice is primed!
