Braid of Jute
Found a fraying coil of thick jute twine snagged under the bench strut. Rough hemp. Good fiber. Needed a proper tie-down for this perimeter post. Planted my boots flat on the concrete. Took three frayed strands into my fists. Kept the tension tight, crossing left over right, rough bark scraping hard against my palms. Pulled every notch dead firm. Didn't rush it. Knotted the tail off thick around a rusty bolt. Heavy cordage. Stays right where it's tied.
