Spinning the Bearing

I jogged down the porch steps to the driveway and ran right into a red skateboard propped against the garage door! One wide polyurethane wheel was hovering just above the concrete, perfectly positioned for a test run. I planted my boots firmly on the pavement, grabbed the grooved rim with both hands, and hauled downward with a quick, determined snap! The wheel caught the spin and whirred into a brisk, high-pitched hum! The bearings hissed with a flawless spin, keeping the rim blurring in place before smoothly easing to a quiet stop. Testing out a giant precision rotor made this morning sprint an instant win!
