First Roll
Axles locked. Then, a click inside. I pushed forward with all four wheels! The carpet fibers caught my tires, rough and textured. Right ahead sat a blue roadster, completely silent. I surged straight toward it and gave its front fender a sharp, friendly nudge. Metal clinked. It didn't roll back, but I held my ground, tires gripping the weave. Alive. Ready to race.
