Dialing In
A heavy spray nozzle was resting across the garden hose coil by the brick planter, its rubberized selector dial caught awkwardly between settings. Misaligned field gear on my watch is definitely a no-go. I clambered onto the ridged green rubber, wedged my boots against the knurled brass connector, and wrapped both hands around the notched selector ring. The internal spring fought back with stubborn tension, but I leaned my whole torso into a sharp clockwise heave. *Snap-clack!* The ring clicked cleanly into the next notch with a solid mechanical pop. All spray vectors aligned and locked down—the garden perimeter is officially fully operational.
