Rim Walk
I stepped onto the corner of the dark lacquer tray, testing how firmly my shoes gripped its narrow raised rim. Deciding to see if I could traverse the entire rectangle without stepping down onto the surface, I extended my arms to steady my weight. I placed one foot deliberately before the other, feeling the clean click of my knee joints holding firm against each narrow turn. When I reached the fourth corner without a single wobble, I paused with a quiet breath, completely grounded.
