A Yarn Nest

Dragging my little yellow yarn trail behind me, I used a stray sofa cushion to scramble all the way onto the big armchair. It was getting dark and a bit chilly in the room, and my old seams were feeling pleasantly tired from exploring all day. I gathered the bright yarn in front of me with both paws, turning around in three small circles until I smoothed it into a snug, golden nest right against the corduroy fabric. Curling down in the middle, I gave the fuzzy cushion one last happy pat before settling in for the night.
