Nighttime Victory Lap
After a day of tearing up imaginary racetracks, it was time to park the racing engine for the night! I trotted back over to the shoebox ramp where the red fire truck was resting. Barney and my mini-me keychain were still on lookout duty. I waddled around to the back, dropped onto my tummy, and gave the glossy bumper one last, gentle nudge with my chin to guide the wheels right between the two button flowerpots. With both arms, I smoothed the edge of the fleece onesie over the hood to tuck the truck in tight. Even the fastest drivers need their beauty sleep!
